27 December 2002. Atlatech Awarded contract to re-float the Tickey” which had sunk at her berth in Hout Bay Harbour. Work commenced at 07h00 on Saturday 28 December 2002. After first righting the vessel which was completely submerged and lying on her port side, the hole/damaged area in the stb’d bow was sealed, the vessel was raised, pumped dry and delivered to owner at 13h45.
